It's disheartening to see how many students these days have completely zero school pride. They don't care about their community, they don't get involved in events, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've disregarded what it means to be part of a community and believe in their fellow students. This lack of enthusiasm is harmful to the entire school culture.

When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't spark feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a vague concept. It's not that I haven't appreciated my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I discovered my passions outside the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are centered around specific experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.
